President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday visited Apaga Resort and Yell Extreme Park in Yenokavan community of Tavush province.

Along with Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan, Chairman of State Tourism Committee, and heads of the aforementioned companies, the President toured the park, getting familiarized with the conditions created for the development of extreme and adventure tourism of Yenokavan village, including the hotel infrastructures.

In the same community, the President also visited French hotel complex of Yenokavan, where he got familiarized with the construction work thereof.

In 2014, memorandum of understanding was signed between Yenokavan and Villecroze  commune of France, according to which they became sister communities. Apart form this, the MoU provides for cooperation in the sphere of community household, especially tourism development, focusing on the key issues relating to the health of the community residents and expansion of favorable and secure environment for vitality.
