RA National Statistical Service (NSS) released information about the state of the economy in January-October this year.

According to the previously published preliminary statistical data for GDP growth in Armenia in the period dropped to 2.4%.

Apparently, from the NSS data on the dynamics of this major macroeconomic indicator in the first place has experienced a substantial decline in gross agricultural production. The influence of the mentioned sectors to the GDP growth was reflected in the negative 2.9 percentage point.
The activities in the service industry (actual trade, services, consumer, financial and other data) contributed to GDP growth, 2.5 percentage points.

Industry, together with energy, added 1.4 percentage points to GDP growth, and construction (due to a growth at the beginning of the year) - 0.5 percentage points in the January-October.

In the GDP structure, the supply of services, with a share of 42,4% (in the same period last year - 42,4%), is again  the dominant ,significantly outperforming both the industry with power, with their total weight in the 15.0% (13 , 6%) and agriculture - 17,1% (17,6%).

It is noteworthy that the share of construction, which noticeably decreased after global crisis reaching Armenia still exceeded the industry indicator over energy by 0,8 percentage points to 15.8%.
