The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Friday sent a congratulatory message to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.
In his message, Sargsyan extended Mirziyoyev his best wishes on the occasion of Independence Day of Uzbekistan.
On September 1, 1991, Uzbekistan proclaimed independence from the then USSR.
