In Jan.-Aug. 2009, inflation in Armenia totaled 2.8% as compared to the same period, RA National Statistical Service reports.
In August 2009, consumer prices increased by 2% compared to December 2008, while deflation made 0.4% compared to July this year. Under state budget, inflation in 2009 should make 4% (± 1.5%).
