The Turkish government has postponed its plans to raise taxes in the amount of nearly 50% for the wealthy earning 1 million Liras a year until October, reports Reuters, citing its sources.
The postponement is due to the parliament’s summer break.
Turkish President Recep Erdogan and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak were supposed to sign the proposals, but they are on a visit to Japan and China.
