President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erodgan said his country would gain a new historical victory in August.

His remark came amid reports on the preparing operation against Kurdish groups in the north of Syria.

“August has always been a month of victories in the history of Turkey. Among the recent events, one can note the operation “Euphrates Shield” which was launched by Turkey in August (2016), which helped prevent the creation of a terrorist corridor near the Turkish border. We hope that this August another one will be added to the number of historical victories in our history,” the message deleivered by Erdogan says.
