By the assignment of the Human Rights Defender, the Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia has started conducting a study on the package of amendments to laws devoted to the judiciary and developed by the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, as reported the Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia.

Taking into consideration the fact that the issues of the legislative package are of fundamental significance from the perspective of the system of human rights protection, the Office will also develop recommendations with specific solutions. The study will also be conducted on the basis of international standards and the practices of other countries, and the results will be forwarded to the Government and made public.
