I expect to see the judges of the Constitutional Court of Armenia implement justice and not submit to pressures that we have been seeing over the past couple of months. This is what Levon Kocharyan, son of second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, told journalists today.
“The statements of a judge were followed by the Prime Minister’s interview and various press releases about misuse, and all this took place after the Constitutional Court accepted our appeal for proceedings. Of course, all this is pressure on other judges,” he stated.
Today the Constitutional Court of Armenia is examining the constitutionality of Article 35 and part 2 of Article 135 of the Criminal Procedure Code based on the application filed by second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan through a written procedure.
