The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, on Wednesday signed a decree on bestowing state awards on the occasion of the Emergency Worker’s Day.
The decree specifically states that a group of personnel from the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been awarded the 2nd Degree Medal for Services Rendered to the Homeland, and some others—the Medal of Appreciation, in recognition of their courage and devotion during their service.
