Armenia’s Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan on Wednesday received outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia Judith Margaret Farnworth, as reported the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Justice.
The minister expressed gratitude to the ambassador for her effective work, highly appreciated her personal efforts for and contributions to the strengthening and development of Armenian-British relations and voiced hope that the ambassador is leaving Armenia with good impressions.
Ambassador Farnworth also expressed gratitude to Minister Badasyan for the fruitful cooperation, viewed the mutual cooperation between the British Embassy and the Ministry of Justice as effective and assured that the United Kingdom will continue to provide assistance to Armenia in the implementation of reforms in several key sectors, setting aside implementation of the actions to be carried out upon adoption of the Anti-Corruption Strategy and capacity-building of the Probation Service.
Rustam Badasyan wished the UK ambassador success in her future endeavors and voiced hope that she will continue to contribute to further development of Armenian-British relations through her activities. Expressing gratitude for the kind wishes, Ambassador Farnworth assured that she is leaving Armenia with bright memories and that one of her goals is to spend her vacations in Armenia.
