YEREVAN. – At Thursday’s Cabinet session, the government of Armenia decided to approve the proposal to sign the protocol with the German government, and with respect to the implementation of the Armenia-European Union (EU) agreement on the readmission of persons residing in each other’s countries without a residency permit.

Prior to the signing of this agreement, Armenia has signed bilateral readmission agreements with ten EU member countries.

Germany is the leading EU country sending readmission requests to Armenia.
