YEREVAN. – An agreement, which was ratified by the Brazilian Congress, is the basis for finding educational institutions in Armenia and Brazil that are willing to cooperate,
Brazil’s Ambassador to Armenia Agemar de Mendonça Sanctos told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“By chance next week we have the visit of Vahan Hakobyan, president of the University of Sao Paulo, and he will discuss implementation of this agreement. My idea is to propose an agreement between the University of Sao Paulo and the Yerevan State University,” he said.
Ambassador expressed hope that the students will use this opportunity as under the new agreements diplomas issued by Armenia will be recognized in Brazil and vice versa.
Agemar de Mendonça Sanctos added that in case of studying in Brazil students will have to go there six months in advance to get Portuguese language training.
