Facebook Inc confirmed that one of the employees in the Seattle office was infected with the coronavirus, and therefore the company decided to close the branch in this city until March 9.

According to Facebook, employees from Seattle are encouraged to work from home before the end of the month.

Seattle, Washington, has the highest concentration of coronavirus cases to date in the US.

Amazon.com Inc., an online store, announced the first virus case among its employees in the US on Tuesday.
