The government of Jordan urged on citizens to stay at home, banned movement between cities and imposed restrictions on the work of public and private institutions in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Jordan adopted a number of decisions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The government banned gathering of more than ten people and prohibited movement between the provinces.
