The British mathematician and creator of the Life game, John Horton Conway, died of a coronavirus aged 82, iProgrammer reported referring to his biographer, Siobhan Roberts.
Horton was born on April 26, 1937. He graduated from Cambridge University. From 1986 until his death he worked at Princeton University in the United States.
