The number of COVID-19 patients in Canada has increased by 1,383 up to 27,063, TASS reported referring to the country’s health ministry.

The first COVID-19 case in Canada was recorded on January 15. The deah toll has reached 903. Over 8.2 thousand people have recovered.

On April 9, PM Justin Trudeau announced that the peak of the pandemic will occur in late May, and the first wave of mass infections will end late in summer.
