Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall will be cooperating as executive producers of American HBO and British BBC initiated film on WikiLeaks and its founder Julian Assange. The project is based on source material that includes 2010 New Yorker article No Secrets: Julian Assange Mission for Total Transparency by Raffi Khatchadourian with British scribe Rowan Joffe working on the script.

The movie will tell the story of WikiLeaks, a database run by former hacker and Internet activist Julian Assange and his operatives, whose mission is to collect and disseminate via the Internet private, secret and classified information from anonymous sources.

Note that WikiLeaks published U.S. secret diplomatic correspondence which caused numerous diplomatic scandals worldwide. After these publications, some Arab countries witnessed social unrests and revolutions, a process that still goes on in some countries.
