Police of Armenia and Germany intend to sign a cooperation agreement in the near future, RA National Security Council press service informed NEWS.am.

The details were discussed during the meeting of RA National Security Council Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan with State Secretary of German Ministry of Defense Thomas Kossendey.

The sides discussed ongoing reforms in Armenia’s armed forces. Artur Baghdasaryan noted that German experience in this sphere is crucial for Armenia. The officials also discussed possibilities on expansion of cooperation in military education, military medicine and military-technical cooperation.

Thomas Kossendey highly assessed activities of Armenian peacekeepers in Afghanistan and Kosovo.
