According to preliminary data, Private Samvel Sanoyan (born in 2002), a conscript in Armenia’s armed forces, sustained a gunshot wound at around 7:20pm on Thursday, from a shot fired by a fellow soldier.
Private Sanoyan died on the way to the hospital, the Ministry of Defense informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
An investigation is underway to find out the circumstances of this incident.
