The 3rd Armenian congress ArmTech 2009 is to be held in the Silicon Valley, California, USA, on November 5-8. The aim of the congress is building a hi-tech economy in Armenia.

RA Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan said that the ArmTech congress is expected to develop into a global forum that will deal with problems of the world IT sector.

The Armenian delegation will be headed by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Hovik Musaelyan, CEO, Synopsys Armenia, said that such a congress in the Silicon Valley is a luxury for small Armenia, but it has something to present. Armenia has all the prerequisites for becoming a regional Silicon Valley.
