The transitional government of Armenia will prepare for the snap parliamentary elections, but will not run in them. Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of the opposition movement, announced this at Republic Square, the heart of Armenian capital Yerevan Sunday.
He noted that this transitional government will work in these three agenda directions:
- a) A cross-party reconciliation government, composed of all capable people with their professional merit, knowledge and dedication. Internal reconciliation on the principle of justice.
- b) Foreign relations with real peace, without cons, with the Armenian agenda
- c) Preparation and holding of extraordinary or regular [parliamentary] elections within the defined period, without having any ambition to run in those elections, ensuring a free and transparent environment and initial justice for all political forces.
