A delegation led by Vice Admiral Gunnstein Bruasdal (Norway), Deputy Chief of Staff of NATO's Supreme Allied Command Europe, arrived in Armenia on November 5-6 on a working visit, Defense Ministry reports.

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation held meetings with Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Major General Arthur Yeroyan and Head of Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the RA Defense Ministry Levon Ayvazyan.

During the meetings issues related to the current state and prospects of Armenia-NATO cooperation were discussed. The NATO side was presented the progress of the defense reforms being implemented in Armenia.

Within the framework of the visit to Armenia, the delegation led by Vice Admiral Bruasdal visited the Military Academy after V. Sargsyan of the Ministry of Defense and the Peacekeeping Forces Brigade.
