The government of Armenia approved, in its Cabinet meeting Thursday, the signing of the convention with Japan on the elimination of double taxation of income as well as the prevention of tax avoidance and evasion between the two countries.
The respective rationale states that such agreements also provide for the establishment of cooperation between the tax authorities of the two countries.
Also, the signing of this convention will provide an opportunity to develop the exchange of goods and services, the movement of capital, technology and people, and will contribute to the development of economic ties between Armenia and Japan.
