A total of 2,208,179 tourists visited Armenia in 2024. This was announced at a press conference Friday by the chair of the Tourism Committee of Armenia, Lusine Gevorgyan, summing up her 100 days in office.

“This is 4.6 percent less than in 2023, when 2,316,000 people visited Armenia. We have a decrease from Russia, but we have an increase from European and Asian countries, on the account off which the pace of tourism [in Armenia] decreased by only 4.6 percent. 937,823 tourists—the 43 percent of the total tourists—visited Armenia from Russia. 279,368 tourists—the 13 percent of the total tourists—visited Armenia from Georgia,” added the head of the Tourism Committee of Armenia.
