YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s nephew, Hayk Sargsyan, recently received a position, Zhoghovurd daily writes.

“Hayk Sargsyan works as senior inspector at the Department of Urban Development and Land Supervision of [capital] Yerevan City Hall. We learned that Serzh Sargsyan’s nephew was sent to City Hall’s that department for a special purpose. He will have to fight against unlawful usurpation [of land] by the oligarchs and criminal elements. We learned from our sources at Yerevan City Hall that when other Yerevan City Hall employees are unable to persuade the [person] who unlawfully usurped the land, they send Hayk to ‘stand firm against’ the oligarchs,” Zhoghovurd writes.
