YEREVAN.- Turkish –Israeli relations will hardly improve in the near future, said Armenian expert in oriental studies Ruben Safrastyan.

“Relations between two countries remain complicated and U.S. spares no efforts to ease tension but it still early speak about revival,” Safrastyan told journalists on Monday.

As regards oil and gas exploration by Turkey in near shore waters of Cyprus, expert stressed that Ankara is openly violating norms of international law.

“Turkey is not simply signing treaty with non-recognized state. This state [North Cyprus] allowed Turkey explore oil in the near shore waters of Cyprus,” he said.
