YEREVAN. – France’s expectations on the Karabakh peace process were highlighted in Vilnius on December 6, French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud told in the interview with Armenian News-NEWs.am.

In response to the report regarding the current situation and expectations from Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, the French diplomat said that the Minsk Group, which initiated to run peace negotiations on Karabakh conflict settlement, was set up in 1992. MG Co-Chairs including France, expect that the sides will agree on the basic principles on peaceful settlement of the conflict, the Ambassador stated.

As for France’s expectations, they were highlighted on December 6 in Vilnius, where a five-sided declaration was adopted on Karabakh conflict settlement. It is high time to seek decisions, as there are no alternatives.
