Turkish Minister of Energy Taner Yildiz stated the need for inviting tenders for the construction of the first nuclear-power plant (NPP) in Turkey, local media reported. Thus the Minister hinted at the possibility of canceling the contest being held by the Turkish authorities, with a Turkish-Russian consortium — Atomstroyexport (Russia), Inter RAOP EES (Russia) and Park Teknik (Turkey)- participating in it.
