PreferredYEREVAN. – Information was received Tuesday from Armenia’s Etchmiadzin city that a citizen had set herself on fire.
Taronik village resident Silva Baghdasaryan, 55, set her clothes on fire with a match. As a result she received different-degree burns to approximately ninety percent of her body, and she was subsequently transferred to hospital, where she died, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
According to initial data, Baghdasaryan was suffering from mental illness.
