YEREVAN. – For ArmRusGazprom Company the year 2011 stood out by the end of the construction and updating program of Hrazdan 5 — fifth power block of Armenia’s Hrazdan Thermal Power Plant—the Company’s Board Chairman and General Director Vardan Harutyunyan noted during Tuesday’s extended consultation. 

At present, Hrazdan 5 is undergoing experimental and industrial operation, and it will be connected to Armenia’s energy system on January 15. 

Assessing the year past, Vardan Harutyunyan gave a positive evaluation to the Company’s programs and recorded indicators. And stressing that the 2012 programs must continue with greater efficiency, he instructed to pay a special attention to the quality of the services being provided and the improvement of the management system.
