Matthew Bryza’s activities in Azerbaijan as U.S. Ambassador did not satisfy Washington, ARF Dashnaktsutyun member responsible for Armenian Cause issues Kiro Manoyan told the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am. According to him the unchanged dispositions of California Senator Barbara Boxer and New-Jersey Senator Robert Menendez speak of the above mentioned fact.
“Those two said from the beginning that Bryza would not be able to fulfill the responsibilities of U.S. Ambassador in Azerbaijan and to protect the interests of his country. If he had fulfilled expectations they would have changed their dispositions,” Kiro Manoyan pointed out. “The White House must choose a replacement candidate from thousands of diplomats. If that happens, the Armenian community will also come up with its disposition,” the ARF Dashnaktsutyun member concluded.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed, Matthew Bryza left Azerbaijan for Washington on January 3.
