Yerevan’s deputy mayor will go on vacation and not return to duty- newspaper

YEREVAN. – Armenian capital Yerevan’s Deputy Mayor, Vahagn Arakelyan, has gone on vacation and he will not return to this office, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

“Vahagn Arakelyan was appointed to the Deputy Mayor’s office by Yerevan’s former Mayor, Karen Karapetyan. Formerly, he was ArmRusGazprom’s [Company’s] Deputy Director of Finance. Furthermore, Karen Karapetyan had opened a fourth Deputy Mayor’s position to bring Arakelyan to the City Hall. At present, the office of the First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan is still vacant, too,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
