ANKARA. – US President Barack Obama had a telephone conversation with Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan.  

During their talk, the two leaders discussed the developments unrolling in the Middle East and North Africa. The parties also spoke about the latest events in Iraq, underscoring the need to continue the stable peace in the region, Zaman daily of Turkey informs.    

During their telephone conversation, Obama and Erdogan also examined the current situation in Syria, and the necessity for conducting a dialogue, with the international community, in connection with Iran’s nuclear program.
