Former Armenian world boxing champion Vic Darchinyan, who turned 36 last week, will fight, on April 1, against Japanese Shinsuke Yamanaka for the WBC bantamweight title, ARMBOXING.com informs, referring to ESPN.com.
Vic Darchinyan’s promoter Gary Shaw said more lucrative proposals were made, but, because of Darchinyan’s desire to become world champion again, Yamanaka was selected.
