Israeli forces have struck a school in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City in the Palestinian enclave of Gaza Strip, reports Al Jazeera.

This school was sheltering displaced Palestinians who had fled other areas of the Gaza Strip due to ongoing military operations.

This strike killed at least 12 people, while the number of injured is being determined.

Since morning, 25 local residents have been killed in the Israeli shelling in the Gaza Strip, and 23 of them were in Gaza City.
