The “Greta Thunberg Flotilla,” on which supporters of Palestine led by Greta Thunberg are attempting to reach Gaza once again, stopped in Tunisia on Sunday. 

According to international news agencies, a large crowd gathered at the port near the Tunisian capital to welcome the “Greta Thunberg Flotilla.”

“We all know why we are here. Beyond this sea, the Israeli killing machine is committing genocide and mass starvation,” said 22-year-old Thunberg, who has switched from fighting for the climate to fighting Israel, according to the BBC.

In early June, Thunberg and her comrades already attempted to break the naval blockade of Gaza on a yacht. The yacht was intercepted, and all pro-Palestinian activists on board, including Thunberg, were taken to Israel and then deported.

Israeli authorities called the attempt to reach Gaza and deliver a small shipment of food there a pure publicity stunt and an imitation of humanitarian aid.
