Famous British actor Colin Firth, who recently played King Georhe VI role, was awarded a a CBE by the Prince of Wales.

Firth played the role of monarch in “The King’s Speech” historical drama in 2010. For his role he got the Golden Globe and Oscar.

In parallel with theater and cinema, Firth is also an author of stories.

A new star was opened in honor of Firth in Hollywood alley of glory in 2011,  ITAR-TASS reports.
