ISTANBUL. – Istanbul’s Eyup District Mayor Ismail Kavuncu paid a visit to the District’s Armenian church on Sunday.
Kavuncu met with Arto Arman, chairman of the church’s fund, and then he was invited to a dinner by the Armenian community, Haberler news agency of Turkey informs.
Afterwards, Ismail Kavuncu and Arto Arman exchanged views on the need for mutual respect and tolerance between religions and nations.
