YEREVAN. – Armenia’s ruling coalition forces have not given a vow of marital fidelity, and it must be understood that even they are in competition with one another, the coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Artak Davtyan stated during a press conference on Thursday.

He noted that there is no need for a new coalition memorandum, because those representing the Party have expressed their allegiance to the memorandum on more than one occasion.

In Davtyan’s words, the memorandum should not be deviated from, but there is a political diversity and those manifestations must be observed in the context of political diversity.

And concerning trust toward the coalition partner Prosperous Armenia Party, the RPA MP said: “We trust ourselves. And concerning the fact that the coalition force is manifesting independence on some matters, why not, there can be steps that are not agreed upon with the coalition,” Artak Davtyan maintained.
