YEREVAN. – At the start of Monday’s special session of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, the Parliament observed a minute of silence in memory of the Armenian soldiers who fell as a result of the recent border incidents.

“The adversary [i.e. Azerbaijan] resorted to acts of sabotage [infiltration] on the Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact in recent days, but the Armenian side took equivalent actions,” NA President Galust Sahakyan stated at the beginning of the session. “The adversary, suffering casualties, was pushed back to its starting point.

“If peace is incomprehensible to our scheming neighbor, we’ll explain [it] in another ‘language,’ which[, however,] would be much more painful.

“Sadly, we [i.e. the Armenian side] have casualties as a result of the sabotage.”
