YEREVAN. - Year 2017 has been declared one of diagnostics, changes in the state administration system, sanitation and stabilization.

Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan, who is also the First Deputy Chairman of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), said the aforementioned at the meeting with voters in Yerevan’s Avan administrative district.

Asked when they can expect conformability between the minimal salary and minimal consumer basket, the PM noted: “Adequacy is quite a relative concept, since the demands will also always grow.

As to the social sphere, we have estimated our capacities realistically. What should we do? We must develop the economy and become rich,” Karapetyan stressed.

According to him, the state should definitely stand by the socially vulnerable stratum.

Karapetyan also added that the RPA doesn’t promise that everything will be fine on April 3. “We don’t say that everything will be rose-colored, that all the refrigerators will be full and that there will be no corruption. We will have to work diligently every day so that our work doesn’t prove to be futile,” Karapetyan said.
