YEREVAN. - Thanks to the innovations proposed by the Armenian National Congress (ANC), it will be absolutely impossible to engage in election fraud at polling stations.
Deputy Chairman of the ANC Levon Zurabyan, who is a deputy candidate on the proportional list of Congress—PPA [i.e. People’s Party of Armenia] bloc, said the aforementioned at a rally in Yerevan’s Liberty Square Wednesday.
Surveillance cameras, which will broadcast the entire voting and counting process, will be installed in all the large polling stations. Electronic devices for voter identification will also be in place.
In Zurabyan’s words, this is a small revolution, since thanks to this the fate of the country is in the hands of the people. Nevertheless, the authorities will try to bribe voters and put pressure on them but the voter will remain alone in the voting booth and thus the people can make a revolution. “Let’s make a revolution on April 2,” Zurabyan said.
