YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday received Eastern Partnership (EaP) special envoys from the ministries of foreign affairs of European Union (EU) members Latvia, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, and Sweden.

The interlocutors discussed in detail Armenia-EU cooperation, ongoing collaboration within the framework of the EaP program of the EU, and preparations for the Brussels summit in November, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, they stressed the dynamic development of Armenia-EU relations, and the achievements that are recorded in recent years. 

In addition, the parties reflected on the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, and the document of Armenia-EU Partnership Priorities for 2017-2020. 

Furthermore, they underscored the planned adoption of the decision on starting discourse regarding visa regime liberalization for Armenia. 

The EU countries’ special envoys lauded Armenia’s constructive and active engagement in the ongoing processes within the framework of the Eastern Partnership.
