YEREVAN. – The brother of military serviceman Artyom Varderesyan, who had fallen one year ago in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), was born Wednesday in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

Artyom’s father, Arsen Varderesyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that they named the baby after their fallen son.

“My son came back to me,” Arsen Varderesyan said, full of emotion. “I’ve already seen [him].”

Artyom Varderesyan had fallen as a result of the shots fired by Azerbaijan, in March 2016, at a military outpost in Martakert Region of Artsakh.

He was from Katnajur village in Lori Province of Armenia.
