YEREVAN. – Public administration shall be digitized in Armenia, said Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, at Thursday’s Cabinet session of the government.
Accordingly, he instructed the heads of state agencies to prepare a digitization schedule within one month.
And based on these data, Vahe Stepanyan, the newly appointed Government Chief of Staff, will prepare a work program within two weeks.
There already are successful examples, and the PM added that the efficiency of fulfilling the tasks has increased considerably in the already-digitized domains of public administration in Armenia.
“Everything changes from this, and not solely in the central staff,” Karapetyan noted. “I can’t state the sectors where this isn’t necessary.”
