President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who has paid a working visit to Kazakhstan, on Friday evening attended the official opening ceremony of international specialized exhibition Astana Expo 2017 entitled “Energy of Future.”

During the event held at Center of Congresses he was accompanied by the country’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev and delegation heads of other countries, which visited Astana.  

Before that, President Sargsyan visited the exhibition complex, where he participated in a group photo together with the delegation heads. Following this, he visited Nur-Alem central pavilion, at an equal distance from which all the national pavilions are located.

At the exhibition dedicated to the alternative sources of energy and green technologies, the participating states present the best power saving technologies, as well as the latest developments in the sphere of alternative energy.

A reception on the occasion of the exhibition opening will be held in the evening as well.
