Police Lieutenant Colonel Arnaud Beltram, who had agreed to be taken hostage instead of the customers in a supermarket during a terrorist act in France, has died from his injuries, reported RBC news agency of Russia.
French President Emmanuel Macron has called Beltram a hero. Also, he had informed that three people were killed and another sixteen were injured in a hostage-taking incident at this supermarket.
