· The dead body of private Vahan Musheghyan, 19, was found at the Dilijan training center in Armenia Tuesday, and hanging from tree, Armenian Defense Ministry’s press service reported.
Musheghyan was the son of the prefect of Tandzatap village in the Armenian Syunik Province.
· Slovenia has ratified the Armenian-EU deal, said Armenian Deputy FM Avet Adonts Tuesday during a press conference dedicated to the second anniversary of signing of the CEPA.
EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was signed in Brussels on November 24, 2017.
A total of 17 EU member states have already ratified the agreement.
· Former deputy of the Armenian parliament representing the Republican Party of Armenia, former Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan has been involved as an accused-on-trial in the case of the events of March 1, 2008 when the then authorities of Armenia used force against the protesters in Yerevan, leaping 10 people killed.
Gevorg Kostanyan, who is currently in Russia, says he will return to Armenia when his training course in Russia draws to an end.
· Today Armenia’s newly formed Commission on Prevention of Corruption held a meeting, on the agenda of which was the election of the chairperson of the commission.
And Haykuhi Harutyunyan was elected Chair of the Commission on Prevention of Corruption by an open vote, with 3 votes for 1 against.
· An employee of Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport has discovered a large amount of money.
On November 25, the employee of the airport found a bag containing 11,445 US dollars, 44,400 Russian rubles, 284,000 Armenian drams, 780 euros, and some other personal belongings at the departure hall of the airport.
