Vahan Musheghyan, the conscript who was found hanged from a tree on November 26, was the son of the prefect of Tandzatap village in Syunik Province of Armenia. The village administration informed about this to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Vahan, 19, was the youngest in their house, and he has a sister and a brother.

On November 26, at about 9am, the dead body of Private Vahan Musheghyan (born in 2000), a conscript of the Dilijan military unit of the Armenian Armed forces, was found at the Dilijan training center, and hanged from a tree by a rope.

The Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case into the incident.

An investigation is underway.
