Former deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia representing the Republican Party of Armenia, former Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan has been involved in the case of the events of March 1, 2008 as an accused-on-trial, as reported Spokesperson of the Special Investigation Service of Armenia Susanna Ohanjanyan.

“A decision has been rendered to involve Gevorg Kostanyan as an accused-on-trial, and under the procedure of part 1 of Article 203 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia, it has been suggested that he show up to the body implementing proceedings within 48 hours in order for a charge to be brought up.”
